ProLife is Pro Gospel

“Christians [have to] start viewing the life issue as a discipleship issue … start seeing someone facing an unplanned pregnancy as a mission field.

The biggest thing that has to happen, and what’s really been missing, is the church’s involvement in this issue. “

Roland Warren
President and CEO of Care-Net

Our Purpose

To motivate & equip churches to make ProLife part of their culture.

Our Challenge & Our Opportunity

“Abortion clinics stay open by permission of the local church.”

Francis Schaeffer

“Silence in the face of evil is evil itself: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”

Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Maturity Index

Where is your church on the ProLife Maturity continuum?

  1. Extending – equipping others outside of your church
  2. Executing – congregation is fully immersed
  3. Engaging – integrating Life into church’s DNA
  4. Emerging – Starting to take baby steps
  5. Exploring – Introducing the elders and church to the opportunity to make a difference

“I watched that clip [of an abortion], and I thought, ‘I am no different than the priest and the Levite who passed by on the other side of the road. They felt pity for the beating victim, but they didn’t take pity. And Jesus said that wasn’t enough.'”

Scott Klusendorf, President, Life Training Institute

Time, Talent & Treasure

Where does your church devote its …

  • Time
  • Talent
  • Treasure

Take this simple test

  1. List your church’s critical ministries

Review your church’s sermon topics, ministry calendars, checkbook, and meeting agendas to evaluate where you’re investing your energy.

  1. Place a “>” indicating your church’s current engagement.
  2. Indicate with a “+” where you’d like your church’s engagement to be.
  3. Evaluate critical gaps and define and develop action plans to close the gaps.

Rise up!

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

“You may be 38 years old, as I happen to be. And one day, some great opportunity stands before you and calls you to stand up for some great principle, some great issue, some great cause. And you refuse to do it because you are afraid…. You refuse to do it because you want to live longer…. You’re afraid that you will lose your job, or you are afraid that you will be criticized or that you will lose your popularity, or you’re afraid that somebody will stab you, or shoot at you or bomb your house; so you refuse to take the stand.

Well, you may go on and live until you are 90, but you’re just as dead at 38 as you would be at 90. And the cessation of breathing in your life is but the belated announcement of an earlier death of the spirit.”
